We place a high priority on providing accurate bills for our customers, and working safely is job one every day at Consumers Energy. We want you to know we’re taking multiple steps to reduce the amount of customers who receive estimated bills, including the following:
- Meter readers are working extra hours
- We’ve hired more meter readers
- We’re prioritizing neighborhoods on routes that were estimated this winter due to dangerous weather
- We’ve activated our Severe Weather Assistance Team to assist customers with billing concerns
