Next Tuesday, August 30, we will host two public meetings to discuss the expansion of our Experimental Advanced Renewable Program (EARP), which is a standard-offer contract program for electricity generated by customer-owned solar generators. These meeting are open to Consumers Energy customers, solar installers and others interested in learning more about selling us photovoltaic electricity.
We are offering two sessions for you to attend:
- In-depth Discussion – Tuesday, August 30, 12:30 – 5 p.m. Topics include current EARP program status; how the program works; participation, eligibility and system requirements; application and paperwork tutorial; installation standards; EARP process details.
- High-level Overview – Tuesday, August 30, 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Topics include how the program works; participation, eligibility and system requirements; EARP process details.
Both sessions will be held at The Henry Center, 3535 Forest Road, Lansing and will also be available through online meeting. Be sure to indicate plans to attend in-person or via online meeting. The deadline for registration is Friday, August 26.
